Perhaps it’s refreshing
to learn a little history around
the iconic and ethnocultural “Afro.”

Navigating the “Hoochie Mama” effect: This spring and summer (an old-school classic) will bring about new dressing attitudes, and some of them will obviously include being provocatively dressed. Bearing in mind that often the latest fashion trends can trigger fashion behaviors that may be a bit too provocative and inviting for the uninvited, I’d strongly encourage young lads and lasses to mind what they wear depending on the social environments they are in. Remember, we are what we wear, and the world will see it that way. How you dress now may shape the world’s perception of you in the future regardless of your personal maturity and growth. The world can be a notoriously unforgiving place. As a young lad or lass, you can still look good and be wise at the same time. For young lads, regardless of how a young lady may dress, protecting your dignity is more important than allowing provocative dress to ruin your good character. Your dignity and self-esteem will always matter, young or old. Responsibility toward dress belongs to both sides.
