Trump supporters are not looking for appeasement, Mr. Scott. They are looking for collective control and separation from ethnic groups and things they believe are beneath them, and there’s nothing likely that you or I can do to change those particular mindsets or prevailing consciences. Many forward-thinking Americans know that what drives the phenomenal MAGA Trump tribe is in part deeply rooted in our nation’s dark, centuries-old history, the radical right, fringe elements, and conservatism in general, the latter with appropriate emphasis on ethnic distinctions.
