Information for the general public: The news industry and its hired hands are laughing at you because you’ve got no robust means to leverage a complaint or rant right now. By many professional opinions, the traditional news industry is a declining dinosaur but is nonetheless still a part of America’s status quo. Metaphorically speaking, the public is the dinosaur’s food. The dinosaur will eat any person it believes will be a good food source. The food source is a representation of a news story or event that provides for good ratings. Once the food source is depleted of its rating-generating nutrients, then it’s discarded as human waste. However, there’s hope. This once $25 million-dollar news-censuring idea (PDF), now a $40 million-dollar idea, is available for entrepreneurs, corporations, or even countries to acquire. It’s a great opportunity to build a remarkable venture from the ground up that enlists the global public to censure the news.
Interesting to know: Of its main U.S. competitors, CNN appears to have the worst ratings in the prime-time TV category, particularly losing significant viewership in 2025. Apparently the network’s recent decline has been the worst in its history, according to some online sources.
