One message and one goal: The cost of being torn away from our true self-identities has been a devastating proposition for Negroes. Often, it’s luck, the excessive consumption of material things (i.e., yachts, planes, homes, cars, jewelry, etc.), presumption, and lordliness that cause it to happen. More importantly, what lies at the center of both our equality and humanity is our mortality. Yet the burdens of our beliefs may frequently deflect from that obvious phenomenon. We Negroes, regardless of how we became so, have to appreciate each other, fight the stigmas that divide us, and become a “collective builder and owner” of our own unique brands. Unless Negroes can manufacture and own the vast infrastructure and facilities to monitor and control their own brands, then they will continue to be marginalized by a racist media, corporations, and government forces that don’t serve their best interests. Let the Negroes’ genius stand out among the greats. It’s time for change, people.
