A Plea To Social Media Gods
Black Men Listen: The images in this post do not portray the kind of strength and character we’ll need if we plan on blazing a trail across social media fronts. Part of that journey, quest, and responsibility to each other is to build user-friendly, robust social media platforms that are unique to our DNA and plight.
Since the age of traditional media and new media, you may not think you need a venture like “All things STUPID about the news,” but you do. Not how “they” want it built, but how [we] need it to be done and managed. We need a bold news censuring platform that’s unorthodox and can cover all kinds of weird-ass topics. This concept does that.
Remember, begging the social media gods [you know who I’m referring to] will only get us laughed at and patronized. Those of us who imagine ourselves as ordinary people, it’s time to have a real online voice against wicked media and take control of our narrative. Social awareness is just as concerning as economic inequality.
