“It” being the mainstream media:
Although I’d be indifferent to many of the upshots involving the persons mentioned below, you have to admit that it has (1) managed to help put Trump against the legal ropes. And (2), it has managed to humiliate the world’s richest man over his purchase and ongoing failures of “X,” formerly Twitter. And (3), lastly, but no less important, perhaps through a network of secret talks, bribes, and double-dealing, it has managed to keep the acquisition, development, and launch of the unorthodox news monitoring and censuring idea, “all things STUPID about the news,” suppressed, like monkeys kept in a cage. That’s why the media is in such a good mood right now. It feels immensely emboldened and powerful right now. Trump! Trump! Trump! Elon! Elon! Elon! These are the unrelenting sound bites, talking points, and narratives blaring from and across the mainstream media on a daily basis.
Merely my opinion:
Meanwhile, on cultural war fronts, particularly African American concerns, the U.S. mainstream media will seemingly kiss any rich, wealthy, famous, or distinguished African Americans’ butts if it believes that person and/or those classes of people have significant influence over the broader Black populous and its adjoining masses. Needless to add, for the longest period of time, the media has grossly misrepresented the overall rectitude and productive citizenry of Black families with no significant backlash or enduring admonishment from the people of whom the media has chosen to kiss their butts, perhaps for either obscured advertisement favors or to unashamedly and indifferently keep quiet.
