I often pause to reflect on my moral propensity, to take inventory of who I am in the moment, and to ask God to forgive me for my weaknesses and ignorance and to change me from my contemptuous ways that may have affected a fellow human being that didn’t deserve it. I encourage you to take time to reflect on who you are “in the moment.” It matters because, as human beings, we are indeed flawed and lack the spiritual competence to absolve ourselves of all the perpetual terrestrial mistakes we are sure to make over our lifetimes. For those of us who pray, that’s why we pray. Life is bigger than us. And so, too, is humanity. I can assure you that a man’s money will never be anyone’s true superpower. Open your heart. He’s waiting. “Stop, look, and listen.”
