Voodoo news and fake news (manufactured news) have eroded America’s integrity in such ways that to fully imagine it is to question everything until one can emphatically verify that it happened, so as to exclude all self-doubt.
What’s worse is that certain institutions may be participating in the practice and condoning the news industry’s behavior for political expediency. As much as I hate to reconcile the following sentiment, it is to say that the only thing I’m inclined to take at face value that it actually occurred is natural disasters [i.e., tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, landslides, ice storms, celestial object collisions, etc]. America’s news industry does not have my confidence, period. I don’t trust it and believe that it’s capable of engaging in anything sinister to protect its own interests and that of the state when urged to do so. Overall, America’s news industry is not a self-contained independent press. The terms and phrases that occupy my mind when thinking about the modern-day mainstream media are deceptive, snooping, thieving, antagonistic, calculative, opinionated, provocative, complicit, manipulative, moral decay, opportunistic, immoral direction, conniving, wayward moral compass, lack of moral character, and leadership deficiencies. America’s news industry is a two-headed runaway horse that never had any reins, and that’s my wholehearted opinion. In closing this diatribe, it’s no surprise that highly-disruptive concepts like “all things STUPID about the news” are feared by the news industry and the organizations and people that secretly protect it.
It’s deep.
