Another big salute to our veterans.
From the “American Revolutionary War” to its “Civil War” to its contemporary wars.
This “Veterans Day” I am asking myself a three-part question: What kind of country is America? How did it grow so fast? And what keeps it in existence? These are fundamental questions that I will never lose sight of. A part of the response to those essential questions, particularly the latter, will always be America’s veterans. Not all wars that our veterans have fought were deemed justified. Nonetheless, they fought because they are strong advocates of the U.S. Constitution. That’s our veterans’ purpose and strength. In that “freedom is not free,” we thank our veterans for the daily sacrifices they make, and we pride ourselves as Americans on our veterans’ decisions to uphold the U.S. Constitution regardless of what forces may try to tear it down. Here’s to you, American veterans. God bless you and your families, and most importantly, may God bless America.
