The mainstream media is notorious for picking, choosing, and broadcasting stories (and I emphasize stories because some narratives may hardly qualify as valued news) that reflect the industry’s own biases, camouflaged racism, self-gratification, and arrogance. Over the decades, these dispiriting attributes have only gotten worse. It’s a sad proposition given how long the mainstream media has been literally spoon-feeding the public with junk content.
