About Mrs. Taylor, “an American academic, writer, and activist” who speaks and writes on issues of “Black politics, racial inequality, social movements, housing inequality, systemic racism in real estate,” Black feminism, and a host of other politically charged subject matter. In 2016, Keeanga received the “Cultural Freedom Award” for her authorship of “From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation.” Currently she is a professor at Princeton University assigned to the Department of African American Studies.
