Anderson Cooper Takes A Backseat To No One

Dash, Tapper, and Jennings, the crafty trio destined to become Cooper’s archenemy.

Anderson Cooper’s “epic meltdown” is the kind of story that belongs on the editorial pages of “all things STUPID about the news.” Why? Because “Trumpism” has been systematically weakening the courage of so many corporations, institutions, government entities, and organizations alike.

The news industry, particularly America’s mainstream media, would appear to be the last stronghold in defending corporations’ freedom to self-govern within the confines of the law. Perhaps CNN is giving in to the “bow down” political pressures and vicious assaults from the Trump administration. Metaphorically speaking, CNN has been slowly turning its massive ship toward the winds and seas of the MAGA Republicans while being exceedingly careful to avoid clashing with the radical ideologies of Trumpism.

CNN and its industry colleagues are losing their nerves to radicalized right-wing zealots and criminal political behaviors that are attached all around them. Unfortunately, as a result, Anderson “Coop” Cooper has been swept up in the dynamic, antagonistic political change.
