We don’t have to be kind or restrained, but rather forthright, imparting our truths from behind our burning reds. On the other side of kindness may reside a candidness equal to or greater in value than merely being kind. I choose to be straightforward and direct over kind because kindness has often been marred by the wrath of deception.
