Something to be mindful of: if we teach our kids to appreciate and respect every culture on the face of God’s blue and green planet, then the world really would be a better place. Akin to a small plant, provided nothing has compromised its health or growth, children are innocent with a propensity to be groomed. Likewise, that child will grow up to nurture life in ways that positively benefit society. More importantly, let’s teach our children to grow within the constructs of life wherein their fellow citizens are viewed as equals and not peripheral through any stereotyping of them. We are a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves, and that reality deserves a lot of unyielding attention humanity can’t afford to ignore.
