This is an article that I really enjoyed. The quote “Sunlight is the best disinfectant” is brilliant. The article promotes a progressive mindset that encourages free speech. Equally as important is that if the inclusion of all human, corporate, and institutional opinions were made conventional, then it would be more likely to expose falsehoods by rooting them out. As a result, less corruption would exist due to greater transparency around various activities, including finance, corporate, and government interests. It’s a brilliant quote that can be applied to censuring the mainstream media, too. Imagine that, “if the news industry has the freedom of the press to encroach upon our lives, then we should have the freedom of speech to critique and censure what it does.”
