The things that can make us arrogant are age,
knowledge, and money. By contrast, the things that
can humble us are age, ignorance, and being flat broke.
When we’re ungrateful, unwise, and unwilling to be caring and generous human beings toward one another, then we may unknowingly self-summon God’s angels to discipline and/or humble us. Understood to be natural energies possessed by all walks of life, these are spiritual triggers governed by the Laws of the Universe. In that all things on earth are a result of God’s creation, even a maltreated animal, insect, or plant could cause such triggers to leverage themselves. Life in and of itself is equal before God and His creations. Accordingly, it’s why respecting and defending the sanctity of life ought to be a pressing concern for humanity in general.
