A mark that continues to be a barrier to our collective successes, and so, do we stay a regimented culture whose dependence on other cultural services and goods marginalize us unfailingly to a question mark, a mark that laughs when nothing about our circumstances seems funny?
Petty theft is a judicial matter, and so we should shift our focus from that. Neither focus on the store owner because he’s either a racist, bias, ignorant, or all. Instead, we should focus on the narrator’s underlying message that Black folk has continued to ignore since the early years of the 20th century.
