This is a relatively old article, but it is timeless in its endeavor to shed light on an increasingly disturbing trend from within Orwellian style governments and the corporations that they partner with to carry out their sins. Government trolls are using “psychology-based influence techniques” on social media.
In a failing democracy, how many people are caught up in these dragnet operations that are targeted for reasons other than substantiated crimes but rather for their political beliefs or condemned behaviors that run counter to government and corporate endorsements? These people are:
1. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure genocide.
2. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure draconian laws.
3. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure corrupt media.
4. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure animal cruelty.
5. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure police brutality.
6. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure human trafficking.
7. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure fraud, waste, and abuse.
8. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure denials of climate change.
9. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure corrupt governments that are complicit in the things a corrupt media might do.
10. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure white-collar crimes, particularly crimes that are linked to financial markets, or a Wall Street equivalency.
11. Those who use their voices and online sources to censure absolutism, anarchism, antisemitism, atheism, authoritarianism, capitalism, classism, communism, democratism, egalitarianism, elitism, extremism, idealism, intellectualism, libertarianism, materialism, monotheism, nationalism, optimism, pansexualism, pessimism, polytheism, racism, radicalism, republicanism, scientism, sexism, skepticism, socialism, terrorism, totalitarianism, xenophobism, and many more “isms” when they are undesired or portrayed in a context that exploits evil.
Malefactors are hiding behind government, corporations, and institutions, and they need to be rooted out. Humanity is often at risk of nefarious activities centered on wielding power and control over the masses, leveraged on Orwellian strategies buttressed by violence and propaganda.
