Made up of all walks of life and ethnicities, you gotta love the African cultural brand.
Despite our challenges, we love being who we are, right? Nonetheless, some of us are especially eccentric, and the following individual is no exception. Check out musician “Tricky.” Just to listen to him talk, observe his body language, it’s quite amusing. He talks about how discomforting it was being on stage with Jay-Z and Beyoncé. He says Beyoncé starts “winding down” on him when she discovered his mic wasn’t working, as Jay-Z is staring him in the eyes. Tricky apparently freezes as all the winding down and glaring is occurring, while his cousin and cousin’s friends are urging him to wind back down on Beyoncé. It’s funny as hell. Likely well experienced, and highly street smart, Tricky touts himself as a “naive artist.”
I always thought Champaign was an odd ensemble, but when they sang songs like “How ‘Bout Us” the music worked its magic, and calmed the soul.
