Cable television commercials are just as depressive, anxiety-causing, manipulative, brainwashing, intrusive, and surveilling as any social media advertisement. To believe otherwise would be a complete fallacy because people have been complaining about the annoyances and absurdities of television commercials for decades. So, essentially, the public’s brains have been negatively impacted by them for a long time, perhaps leading to ongoing sessions of depression, anxiety, and mental health issues.
