In many instances social media is just as fake as any demonic influences around fake news.
FAKE accounts, fake visitors, fake followers and fake likes on social media sites can all be manipulated by individuals with access to the platform’s master administrative accounts; which by the way, could be persons with certain biases and preconceptions about members within the site’s user-base, wherein those associates may be secretly targeted in unvarying ways. But more disconcerting is that the site’s company, its executive management may uphold unscrupulous agendas targeted toward entire cultures. Therefore, any social media company with either tens of millions, or hundreds of millions of “so-called” active social media accounts, would be acutely susceptible to using hostile acts that are partial to members and businesses of its user-base.
It’s kind of like “The Matrix,” unless one realizes the extent to which it can and/or have harmed them then he or she may never understand the effects involved. Mind you, The Matrix always used aggressive behaviors to help normalize any evils it inflicted on society.
