Are missing monkey’s really that interesting, mainstream media? Or is there something more sinister at play?
Anyways, will the African American political power base be supplanted by newly assimilated and opposing political power bases [i.e., “the new black”], effectively wiping away hundreds of years of the African American struggle for equality in America?
An elementary view: In no particular order, below are conditions that have severely weakened the political power structure of the African American brand, some more than others.
– Widespread poverty
– High incarceration rates
– Lack of intracultural cohesion
– Lack of educational attainment
– Lack of intracultural business support
– Lack of gainful employment opportunities
– Plagued by white-controlled consumerism
– Culturally mocked [ongoing systemic racism]
– Intracultural violence and state sponsored violence
– Lack of participation in the political election processes
– Gradually losing its political power base to opposing assimilation, “the new black”
– Lack of control over broader cultural narrative [hijacked by U.S. mainstream media]
– Lack of ownership in land, housing, high-valued businesses, and critical infrastructure

All things considered, I suppose there’s little time for happiness and a lot more work that needs to be done inside America for African Americans.
