Freedom Ain’t Free: November Eleven Is Veterans Day
Birth provided us with a God-given right to be free, but humanity’s wickedness often circumvents that right through self-centered interests. Accordingly, humanity’s universal freedoms are then compromised, causing it to bear arms in worldly groups. Our military and the people who are in it are the guardians of our capacity to remain free, and their sacrifices and service to their country help to sustain our democracy and the ways we live. So, if you encounter a veteran, or an active duty military man or woman, when appropriate, have enough humanity to say, ”thank you for your service,” especially on Veterans Day.
