Fist Bumping, Mainstream Media, And Foreign Policy

The President of the United States is the representative of our entire nation and not of any single industry. The mainstream media should give President Biden some diplomatic leeway. Conventional wisdom tells us that America has a lot on its plate right now. If fist bumping breaks the ice when our representatives greet another nation, then let it be fist bumping that breaks the ice. Isn’t it the mainstream media’s self-righteousness and journalistic doctrine that frowns on the calling of vengeance? Moreover, it would appear that any practical justice is out of reach because America lacks jurisdiction over another sovereign nation’s judicial system. Let’s not allow our grief to cloud our good judgement. Know that America didn’t acquire its global status by being inflexible, but rather by being extremely flexible, which allowed it to become the Goliath that it is today.
