“21 Savage – a lot (Official Video) ft. J. Cole,”
It’s a highly befitting song/video considering many young Black men’s and women’s struggles to survive the unforgiving environments they may be growing up in, the media’s lack of coverage in those areas, and the searing political temperatures that our nation finds itself in right now.
Owned and largely operated by Black people, there is one reason why a Black National News Network (BN3) would be so vitally important to the broader Black community—that is, for the first time in African Americans’ history, it could, on a broad scale, put more emphasis on topics and subject matter that’s actually significant to the Black community and less emphasis on media-related content that’s not. Ordinarily, it appears that’s how America’s largely white-owned media runs its news operations now.
