Hey Google and Bing, what company wouldn’t want search neutrality as part of its overall marketing strategy? Likewise, if you’re going to digitally index persons, places, and things without exclusive permission, then it ought to be done with impartiality, to the extent systematically practical and allowed. Search engine biases will land your technologies on a slippery soap bound to be confronted by class-action lawsuits. You know this already, so why engage in such practices [if that be the case], putting your companies at risk of losing billions of dollars in punitive damages. Oh — how your biases are so hated.
