America’s Prison Industrial Complex

Although the subject matter is far from being a joke, I applaud the way “Cracked Explains” America’s Prison Industrial Complex. Particularly the sheer wickedness of it, as in how it has disproportionately affected black and brown men, as well as some of America’s poorest citizens. Americans should not let the United States lose focus on mitigating the dramatic effects of the Prison Industrial Complex. For those who’ve been victimized by its iniquities, we owe our fellow Americans a fighting chance so that they can regain their dignity—but most importantly, an opportunity to be reunited with their families.
