Has America’s dog culture become painfully annoying and intrusive?
It seems dogs have more rights and get more affection than an infant child nowadays, with owners around the globe collectively spending billions of dollars on food, health, and various accessories to keep their pooches happy.
Meanwhile, the world’s enormous slew of citizens who are not enthusiastic about dogs, or any other pet for that matter (which doesn’t make them evil people), are becoming more livid at how governments are allowing the rights of dogs to trample their peace and quiet—wherein dog owners may not be so concerned about their pooches urine marking, peeing, or defecating all over the place without any motivation to either pick up after them and/or control the dog’s behavior for where it occurs.
One of the most annoying pet peeves around the dog culture are dogs urine marking, peeing, and pooping on and around homeowners lawns, often leaving residuals of animal feces and putting a horrible stench in the air during the warmer seasonal months because other dogs are drawn to the same areas to engage in the same behaviors. According to many homeowners’ complaints and accounts, it’s sickening, and they want laws put in place to make dog owners more accountable for their pooches natural behaviors. As an important reminder, just because you love your pooch doesn’t mean that a neighbor or passerby might love it too, and that doesn’t make those individuals “evil people.” They’ve got a right not to like animals, especially your pooch. And often, in terms of a non-vocal demonstration, the latter may imply “freedom of speech.”
