Quick Note: CNN’s Michael Smerconish and Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, “Senior Associate Dean for Leadership Studies” at Yale University, who appeared to have been advocating for President Trump’s sanity, sound about as deranged as Smerconish’s new television epithet, “Smernonsense,” for even proposing such an idea to the American public. Michael and the professor brainstormed the outlandish idea on April 11, 2026, during Smerconish’s morning show programming. Needless to say, a large swath of America’s citizenry is beginning to wonder about Smerconish’s sanity right now. This is what happens when anchors for the media start sharing their opinions rather than sticking to the facts surrounding the news.
